Lifedrawing!

Vigil has been hosting lifedrawing for a couple months now, figured I might as well post some of my sketches up! Practice practice practice. Ah, the life of an artist!
I love working with charcoal on newsprint, but most of these are pencil on paper (I need to buy more newsprint):P Click for bigger images!

So two of our concept artists (Allison Theus and Rayph Beisner) have been doing this awesome art battle at work. I decided to join in on the fun with a 3d sketch of Cthulhu :)

Blizzcon 2011!

I just got back from Blizzcon! :D The whole trip was phenomenal- the flight... not so much!

Spent most of today playing around, haha. Isn't the new wax preview spiffy?

Plein air

I went plein air painting for the first time ever! Man, I had no idea how much faster acrylics dry when you're outside! On top of that, it's quite a pain to have to not have your water close by while standing up at an easel. Lessons learned I suppose.
